The vacation program provides university students paid employment in the semester breaks.
Employment is in entry level NT Government short term roles.
It is a great chance to gain exposure to NT Government agencies.
You will receive
- Annual salary range (Administration Officer 2) $58,261 to $63,252.
- Personal and professional development.
- Practical experience aligned or not dissimilar to your study course.
- Develop your research, analytical and administrative skills.

- Access to NT Government employment conditions including leave provisions, and superannuation contributions.
This program offers you a pathway into the Graduate Development Program, or opportunities for employment with the NT Government.

Program dates
The program offers placement during both semester break periods.
- June to August: Mid-year program.
- November to March: End of year program.
Applications open:
- March: 2 February to 1 March 2024 : Mid-year program.
- September: 1 July to 9 August 2024: End of year program.
You can submit your expression of interest year-round.

Who can apply
- Tertiary students studying at an Australian university.
- Tertiary students enrolled on both sides of the semester break.
- Australian citizen/resident or visa holder with Australian appropriate working rights or visa to state working rights in Australia.
