The Work Experience Program introduces Year 10 high school students to the diverse career opportunities within the Northern
Territory Government. This program offers an unpaid student placement with an NT Government department for 1 week.
Who can apply
Year 10 high school students currently enrolled at a secondary school in the Northern Territory.
You must be able to:
- attend a readiness workshop prior to starting the work experience week
- complete the program feedback form at the end of your work experience week.

- Review: The Early Careers team reviews shortlisted applicants and matches them with an appropriate NT Government department.
- Outcome: The Early Careers team notifies students and school careers coordinator of the outcome.
